The active ingredient in Repel® Plant-Based Lemon Eucalyptus Insect Repellent is derived from the leaves of the magnificent Eucalyptus citriodora tree.

Lemon Eucalyptus is the ONLY plant-based active ingredient recommended by The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)* in USA so far.

*CDC is a government agency in USA which seeks to protect U.S. citizens from health, safety and security threats, both foreign and in the U.S. CDC often offers impartial and practical advice for various diseases and related issues which are of public interest. As such, we should follow closely any advice and recommendations coming from CDC, although we are in Singapore. Our own Ministry of Health also seeks advice from them. Its official website can be found at if you wish to find out more.

Derived from oil obtained from the leaves of the Eucalyptus citriodora tree, this active ingredient naturally repels mosquitoes and deer ticks for up to six hours. Products made with this active ingredient are ideal for consumers who are looking for truly effective products made from naturally renewable resources.

One of the TOP TWO sprays recommended by independent consumer watchdog Consumer Reports:

General rule for insect repellent sprays:
1) When using for the first time, spray a small quantity
onto one arm and wait for about 1 minute to see
if there is any itchiness or discomfort.
This is to test for possible skin allergy.
2) Read product label carefully to know what to do
if spray enters the eye or mouth by accident.
3) Do not spray directly to face area.
Spray onto your hand and apply to face,
avoiding eye and mouth areas.
For kids, apply with your hands onto their bodies and faces.
May not be applied on hands as kids tend to touch their eyes or mouths with hands/fingers frequently.

How safe is this REPEL product?
Since REPEL is registered with the EPA (USA’s equivalence of our NEA), as long as user follows the instructions on the product label,
it will not cause adverse harm to users
(including pregnant women & kids)
or the environment.

NOTE: Only repellents containing minimum amount
of 30% Lemon Eucalyptus are effective against Zika, as tested & recommended by Consumer Reports, USA! Sadly most other natural oils failed the test badly.REPEL is effective against Zika-carrying Aedes Mosquitoes for 7 hours! See report below.

Customer Reviews on Youtube:

Other so-called plant-based mosquito repellents may be cheaper than this REPEL spray but are you sure of their effectiveness based on third-party validations?
